أثنى سمو الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني، ولي العهد، على أداء منتخب النشامى تحت 23 في بطولة كأس آسيا.

وقال سموه عبر إنستغرام : "مباراة كبيرة تليق باسم الأردن.. أبدعوا اليوم شباب النشامى.. كل التوفيق بما هو قادم".

وأنهى المنتخب الوطني لكرة القدم تحت 23 عامًا مشاركته في بطولة كأس آسيا، بعد خسارته أمام نظيره الياباني بركلات الترجيح بنتيجة 2-4، عقب انتهاء الوقتين الأصلي والإضافي بالتعادل 1-1، في اللقاء الذي أقيم عصر الجمعة على الملعب الرديف لاستاد مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية في جدة، ضمن منافسات الدور ربع النهائي.
