أعلنت رئيسة فنزويلا الموقتة ديلسي رودريغيز، الأربعاء، أنّ بلادها تتطلّع إلى "حقبة سياسية جديدة" بعد الإطاحة بنيكولاس مادورو في الثالث من كانون الثاني في عملية عسكرية أميركية.

وقالت للصحافيين في القصر الرئاسي في ميرافلورس، إنّ "الرسالة هي أنّ فنزويلا تنفتح على حقبة سياسية جديدة، حقبة تسمح بالتفاهم وسط الاختلافات ومن خلال التنوع السياسي الأيديولوجي".

وأعلنت رودريغيز، التي وافق الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب على العمل معها طالما تلتزم بخط واشنطن، أنّ كراكاس أفرجت عن 406 سجناء سياسيين منذ كانون الأول، في عملية قالت إنّ مادورو بدأها.
