مليار دينار لتخفيف الازدحامات وتحسين النقل بين عمّان والزرقاء

قدّرت الحكومة كلفة مشروع إنشاء وتشغيل القطار الخفيف بين مدينتي عمّان والزرقاء بقيمة مليار دينار، ضمن المشاريع التي أعلنتها ضمن برنامجها التنفيذي للأعوام 2026–2029.

مشروع إعادة تأهيل سكة حجاز للقطار الخفيف (LRT) من شمال الزرقاء إلى المطار ستكون بطول 60 كم، وبسرعة متوقعة 60 كم/س.

وأدرجت الحكومة المشروع في محور النقل، كجزء من جهود تحديث منظومة النقل العام وربطه بأنظمة النقل الأخرى، وفق بيانات الوثيقة.

وزير النقل نضال القطامين أكد خلال تصريحات سابقة، أن مشروع القطار الخفيف يُعد أحد المشاريع الاستراتيجية الهادفة إلى تطوير منظومة النقل العام في المملكة، مشيرا إلى دوره في تحسين جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين، وتخفيف الازدحامات المرورية بين المدينتين، فضلا عن انعكاساته الاقتصادية والعمرانية على طول مسار المشروع.
