يغادر المنتخب الوطني لكرة اليد عمّان الأربعاء، متوجها إلى الكويت، للمشاركة في البطولة الآسيوية الـ 22.

ويستعد المنتخب الوطني لبدء منافسات البطولة الجمعة، بلقاء المنتخب البحريني، ثم يلتقي مع منتخب العراق، قبل أن يواجه منتخب الصين في ختام منافسات دوري المجموعات.

وخاض المنتخب الوطني معسكرا تدريبيا في العاصمة المصرية القاهرة، استعدادا للمشاركة في هذه البطولة الآسيوية، بحثا عن نتائج لافتة.

وأكد رئيس اتحاد كرة اليد الدكتور تيسير المنسي، جاهزية المنتخب للمشاركة في هذه البطولة.

واعتبر أن البطولة فرصة لإقحام اللاعبين الشباب في المنتخب بمنافسات قوية بحثا عن الاحتكاك، ما ينعكس إيجابا على مستويات اللاعبين القادرين على تمثيل المنتخب الوطني لسنوات مقبلة.
