يعقد مجلس الأمن الدولي اليوم إحاطته المفتوحة الشهرية بشأن اليمن تتبعها مشاورات مغلقة.

ومن المتوقع أن يقدم مبعوث الأمم المتحدة الخاص لليمن هانس غروندبرغ، ومسؤولة قسم التنسيق في مكتب الأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا) راميش راجاسينغام، إحاطتين فيما ستقدم القائمة بأعمال مهمة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة (يونمها)، ماري ياماشيتا إحاطة في المشاورات المغلقة.

الى ذلك، يعقد مجلس الأمن في جلسة مبكرة اجتماعاً بموجب بند جدول الأعمال "صيانة السلم والأمن الدوليين" للتصويت على مشروع قرار بتمديد متطلب "الإبلاغ الشهري للأمين العام عن هجمات جماعة الحوثي في اليمن على السفن التجارية في البحر الأحمر" حتى 15 تموز القادم.
