اتهمت الحكومة الإيرانية الثلاثاء الولايات المتحدة باختلاق ذريعة للقيام بتدخل عسكري، بعدما هدد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب باتخاذ "إجراء قوي للغاية" بشأن القمع الدامي للاحتجاجات التي تهز الجمهورية الإسلامية.

وكتبت بعثة إيران لدى الأمم المتحدة على منصة إكس "أوهام الولايات المتحدة وسياستها تجاه إيران تقوم على أساس تغيير النظام، بحيث تستخدم العقوبات والتهديدات والاضطرابات المدبرة والفوضى كأسلوب عمل لتصنيع ذريعة لتدخل عسكري" قائلة إن "قواعد اللعبة" التي تتبعها واشنطن "ستفشل مجددا".
