اغلق صباح اليوم الثلاثاء، النفق المؤدي إلى شارع المطار من جهة السير القادم من كوريدور عبدون نتيجة ارتفاع منسوب المياه.

وباشرت كوادر أمانة عمان الكبرى العمل على فتح النفق وإعادة الحركة المرورية.

وأدت مياه الأمطار إلى ارتفاع منسوب المياه في مناطق وشوارع عدة بالعاصمة عمّان منها رئيسية، ما يعطل مرور المركبات والمشاة، رغم الاستعدادات التي أعلنتها الأمانة مسبقا.

وارتفع منسوب المياه وفق الأمانة في شارع زيد بن خالد بمنطقة جاوا، وشارع البنيات الرئيسي، وفي شوارع عدة بمناطق شمال عمّان بحسب ما ابلغ مواطنون.

اما الحركة المرورية في الشوارع بشكل عام بحاجة إلى التعامل بحذر شديد، بسبب تشكل السيول إثر الغزارة المطرية وشدتها إضافة إلى تساقط حبات البرد بشكل غزير في عدد من المناطق.
