قال وزير الإدارة المحلية وليد المصري إن حجم الهطل المطري بلغ 80 ملم حتى صباح الثلاثاء، مشيرا إلى أن هذا يفوق التوقعات وقدرة البنية التحتية على التحمل.

وأضاف أنه تم إغلاق بعض الطرق في الزرقاء والرصيفة نتيجة ارتفاع منسوب السيل وفيضانه على الشوارع المحيطة به.
