أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، صباح اليوم الأحد، محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة بواسطة طائرة مسيّرة (درون) على واجهتها الغربية وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية العسكرية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات، إذ جرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك بعد رصدها من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود وإسقاطها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وتم تحويل المضبوطات للجهات المختصة
