نفّذت القوات المسلحة الأردنية عبر سلاح الجو الملكي، مساء يوم أمس السبت، عمليات جوية نوعية استهدفت مجموعة من الأهداف التابعة لعصابة داعش الإرهابية في عدة مناطق داخل الأراضي السورية، وذلك ضمن الجهود الإقليمية والدولية المستمرة لمحاربة الإرهاب.

وجاءت هذه العمليات بالتنسيق مع الشركاء ضمن إطار التحالف الدولي، الذي تشارك فيه الدولة السورية، في سياق السعي إلى تحييد قدرات الجماعات الإرهابية ومنعها من إعادة تنظيمها أو استخدام تلك المناطق كنقاط انطلاق لتهديد أمن دول الجوار والأمن الإقليمي.

وتأتي المشاركة ضمن سياسة المملكة في مكافحة الإرهاب والتطرف، والدفاع عن أمنها الوطني، والإسهام في حفظ الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
