أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية مساء السبت على واجهتها وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها محاولة ثانية لتهريب كمية من الموادّ المخدّرة محملة بوساطة بالونات موجهة بأجهزة إلكترونية متطورة؛ إذ جرى رصدها من قبل قوات حرس الحدود والتعامل معها وإسقاطها وحمولتها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
