أجرى نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي اتصالًا هاتفيًا مع وزير الخارجية والمغتربين في الجمهورية العربية السورية أسعد الشيباني وبحث معه تطورات الأوضاع في سوريا.

وأكّد الصفدي موقف الأردن الثابت في دعم الحكومة السورية في جهودها حماية أمن سوريا واستقرارها وسيادتها ووحدة أراضيها وضمان سلامة مواطنيها.

وأكّد الوزيران أهمية التطور المستمر الذي تشهده العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين الشقيقين، واستمرار الجهود المشتركة لتوسعة التعاون الذي ينعكس إيجابًا على مصالح الأردن وسوريا ويعكس عمق العلاقات الأخوية بينهما.
