هدد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الخميس، بضرب إيران "بقوة شديدة"، إذا "بدأت السلطات بقتل المتظاهرين".

وقال ترامب في مقابلة مع الصحافي المحافظ هيو هيويت "لقد أبلغتهم أنّهم إذا بدأوا بقتل الناس، وهو ما يميلون إلى القيام به خلال أعمال الشغب - لديهم الكثير من أعمال الشغب - إذا فعلوا ذلك، سنضربهم بشدّة".
