قالت رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين، الخميس، إن الأردن يُعد شريكًا طويل الأمد لأوروبا في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وركيزة أساسية للاستقرار الإقليمي.

وأعربت فون دير لاين، في منشور لها، عن شكرها إلى جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني على حسن الضيافة والاستقبال الحار في عمّان، وذلك بمناسبة انعقاد أول قمة من نوعها بين الجانبين.

وأكدت أن الاتحاد الأوروبي والأردن يعملان معًا على تحويل الالتزامات إلى أفعال، بما يخدم الاستقرار والمرونة والازدهار المشترك.
