تعقد منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، السبت، اجتماعا استثنائيا لمجلس وزراء الخارجية لمجلس وزراء الخارجية المنظمة، في مقر الأمانة العامة بمدينة جدة في السعودية، لبحث تطورات الوضع في الصومال، وذلك على خلفية اعتراف إسرائيل – قوة الاحتلال – بما يسمى "أرض الصومال" كدولة مستقلة.

ودعت الأمانة العامة للمنظمة وسائل الإعلام إلى تغطية الاجتماع، مؤكدة أهمية الحدث في ضوء تداعيات الاعتراف الإسرائيلي، حيث يُتوقع أن يناقش الاجتماع سبل دعم وحدة وسيادة الصومال ومواجهة التدخلات الخارجية.
