نبّه الرئيس التركي رجب طيب إردوغان، المقرّب من الرئيس الفنزويلي نيكولاس مادورو، نظيره الأميركي دونالد ترامب الاثنين، من انزلاق فنزويلا "إلى الفوضى أو عدم الاستقرار".

وقال إردوغان في اتصال هاتفي مع ترامب: "إن أي انتهاك لسيادة الشعب وأي خرق للقانون الدولي سيؤدي إلى تعقيدات خطيرة في النظام الدولي"، مؤكدا أنه "يجب ألا تنزلق فنزويلا إلى الفوضى أو عدم الاستقرار".
