قالت رئيسة لجنة بلدية بني عبيد المهندسة منار ردايدة، إن البلدية ستطرح عطاء جديدا لتعبيد وفتح عدد من الطرق بمناطق اللواء بكلفة 1.5 مليون دينار.

وأكدت الردايدة أن البلدية تهدف من خلال هذا العطاء إلى تعزيز جودة الحياة وتحسين الخدمات العامة، وتحديث البنية التحتية وتطويرها في اللواء لتلبية احتياجات سكان المنطقة وتحسين مستوى المعيشة وضمان ربط مناطق اللواء بعضها ببعض وتخفيف الضغط عن الطرق الرئيسة.

يشار إلى ان عدد سكان لواء بني عبيد يبلغ حوالي 225880 ألف نسمة، ومساحته 188 كيلومترا مربعا، ويضم مناطق الحصن، والنعيمة، وإيدون، وكتم، والصريح، وشطنا.
