قال رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي، بنيامين نتنياهو، الاثنين، إن إسرائيل لن تسمح لإيران بإعادة بناء برنامجها البالستي، وذلك بعد أيام من تهديد مماثل أطلقه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب.

وقال نتنياهو أمام أعضاء البرلمان الإسرائيلي "لن نسمح لإيران بإعادة بناء برنامجها للصواريخ البالستية".

وأضاف أن إيران تنتظرها "عواقب وخيمة" إذا هاجمت إسرائيل.

وكانت إيران اتهمت إسرائيل الاثنين بالسعي إلى "تقويض وحدتها الوطنية" بعد تصريحات بنيامين نتنياهو التي تحدث فيها عن تضامنه "مع تطلعات الشعب الإيراني للحرية" فيما تشهد إيران احتجاجات.

وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي "النظام (..) مصمم على استغلال أي فرصة لبث الفرقة وتقويض وحدتنا الوطنية، ويتعين علينا أن نظلّ يقظين".
