يلتقي المنتخب الأولمبي تحت سن 23 لكرة القدم، نظيره منتخب فيتنام عند الساعة الثانية والنصف من ظهر يوم غد الثلاثاء، على الملعب الرديف لستاد مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بمدينة جدة السعودية، في افتتاح مشاركته بالنهائيات الآسيوية.

ويخوض المنتخب الأولمبي تدريبه الأخير اليوم، بقيادة المدرب المغربي عمر نجحي، تمهيدا لوضع اللمسات الأخيرة على تشكيلة الفريق التي ستخوض مباراة يوم غد.

ويخوض المنتخب الأولمبي مباراته الثانية في البطولة الآسيوية أمام منتخب السعودية قبل أن يختتم دور المجموعات أمام قيرغزستان.

وحسب نظام البطولة، تم تقسيم المنتخبات الـ 16 المشاركة في البطولة على أربع مجموعات، حيث تضم كل مجموعة أربعة فرق، تتنافس بنظام الدوري المجزأ من مرحلة واحدة، على أن يتأهل أول فريقين من كل مجموعة إلى الدور ربع النهائي.
