أبلغت إدارة الطيران الفدرالية الأميركية السبت شركات الطيران التجارية بتجنب المجال الجوي للكاريبي، مشيرة إلى "وضع يحتمل أن يكون خطيرا" وسط العمليات العسكرية الأميركية التي أدت إلى اعتقال الرئيس الفنزويلي نيكولاس مادورو.

وجاء في الإشعار أن الإغلاق صدر بسبب "مخاطر على سلامة الطيران مرتبطة بنشاط عسكري مستمر".
