قال نائب وزير الخارجية الأميركي كريستوفر لاندو إن الرئيس الفنزويلي نيكولاس مادورو، الذي ألقت قوات خاصة أميركية القبض عليه السبت، "سيحاكم أخيرا على جرائمه".

وكان الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب قد ذكر في وقت سابق أن مادورو نقل جوا من البلاد عقب ضربات أميركية.
