قال رئيس أركان جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي إيال زامير الأربعاء إن إسرائيل عازمة على نزع سلاح حركة حماس الفلسطينية، واصفا العام 2026 بأنه "عام حاسم" لأمن الدولة العبرية.

وقال زامير لجنود خلال زيارة في غزة "سيكون العام 2026 عاما حاسما في ما يتعلق بتصميم الواقع الأمني لدولة إسرائيل. نحن مصممون تماما على نزع سلاح حماس وباقي المنظمات الإرهابية. لن نسمح لحركة حماس الإرهابية بإعادة بناء قدراتها وتهديدنا"، وذلك بعد أيام قليلة على إثارة رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتانياهو هذه القضية لدى لقائه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب في فلوريدا.
