تسببت الأمطار الغزيرة التي شهدتها محافظة عجلون بسقوط شجرة سرو كبيرة على سور مدرسة عبين الإسلامية الأساسية في بلدة عبين بمنطقة الجنيد، ما أدى إلى تهدم جزء من سور البلوك، دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية.

وقال رئيس لجنة بلدية الجنيد الدكتور أحمد قوقزه إن سرعة الاستجابة والتنسيق بين الجهات المعنية أسهما في احتواء الحادث ومنع تفاقم الأضرار، مؤكدًا أن البلدية تتابع بشكل مستمر تداعيات الأحوال الجوية، لا سيما في محيط المدارس والمنشآت الحيوية.

وأشار قوقزه إلى أهمية اتخاذ الإجراءات الوقائية المسبقة، داعيًا المواطنين إلى الإبلاغ عن أي مخاطر محتملة ناتجة عن الظروف الجوية، بما يضمن التعامل معها بالسرعة الممكنة والحفاظ على السلامة العامة.
