قال الناطق الرسمي باسم وزارة التربية والتعليم محمود الحياصات، إن الوزارة مستمرة بتفويض مدراء التربية والتعليم في جميع محافظات المملكة باتخاذ القرار المناسب بشأن دوام المدارس خلال الحالة الجوية التي تشهدها المملكة، بالتنسيق مع الحكام الإداريين.

وأضاف الحياصات،إن هذا القرار هو استمرار لنهج تسير علية الوزارة منذ سنوات سابقة، ويأتي للحفاظ على سلامة الطلبة والهيئات الإدارية والتدريسية في المدارس.

وبين أن الوزارة اتخذت في وقت سابق جميع الاستعدادات والجاهزية لاستقبال فصل الشتاء بما يضمن اتخاذ الاحتياطات اللازمة لتوفير البيئة المدرسية الآمنة ومتطلبات السلامة العامة وإجراء الصيانة اللازمة.
