قال ناطق باسم الرئيس النيجيري السبت، إن الضربات التي نفّذتها الولايات المتحدة الخميس، على نيجيريا استهدفت مقاتلين من تنظيم "داعش" قدموا من منطقة الساحل لمساعدة جماعة لاكوروا وعصابات "قطاع طرق".

وأوضح دانيال بوالا، الناطق باسم الرئيس بولا تينوبو، "تمكّن التنظيم من شق طريقه عبر منطقة الساحل لتقديم المساعدة لجماعة لاكوراوا وقطاع الطرق من خلال تزويدهم إمدادات وتدريبات".

وأضاف "تم استهداف التنظيم ولاكوراوا وقطاع الطرق".
