أعلن المتحدث باسم "الكرملين" دميتري بيسكوف، اليوم الجمعة، بأن ممثلين عن القيادة الروسية، اجتمعوا مع ممثلين عن الإدارة الأميركية، عقب زيارة المبعوث الرئاسي الروسي كيريل دميترييف، للولايات المتحدة، وذلك بتوجيه من الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين.

وقال بيسكوف خلال مؤتمر صحفي:"مستوى الاتصالات بين موسكو وواشنطن على مستوى عال، لقد أجرينا اتصالًا هاتفيا، وقررنا مواصلة الحوار، هذا كل ما يمكننا قوله، الكرملين قام بتحليل المعلومات الواردة من الممثل الخاص للرئيس الروسي، كيريل ديميترييف، عقب زيارته للولايات المتحدة".
