أعلن مدير رقابة الإعمار في أمانة عمّان، علاء السعايدة، الجمعة، عن وجود 350 مبنى مهجورًا في العاصمة عمّان.

وقال السعايدة، إن الأمانة شكلت لجانًا مختصة لمتابعة ورصد المباني المهجورة ضمن المناطق الـ22 التي تشملها أمانة عمّان.

وأضاف السعايدة أن المباني المهجورة هي تلك التي تُركت دون استخدام لفترات طويلة، وذلك لأسباب متعدّدة، منها مالية أو قانونية أو نتيجة هجرة مالكيها.

وأكد السعايدة أن المباني المهجورة لا تعني بالضرورة وجود مشاكل تتعلق بالسلامة العامة، ولكنها تشكل مخاطر متنوعة.

وأوضح أن هذه المخاطر تتعلق بالجوانب البيئية والصحية والاجتماعية، بالإضافة إلى السلامة العامة.

وتتركز المباني المهجورة في بعض المناطق القديمة في عمّان، مثل المدينة وبسمان والنصر ورأس العين واليرموك والقويسمة.
