تبنّت مجموعة "سرايا أنصار السنة" الإرهابية في بيان الجمعة، تفجير عبوات ناسفة داخل مسجد الإمام علي بن أبي طالب في مدينة حمص بسوريا، ما أسفر عن مقتل 8 أشخاص على الأقل، بحسب السلطات السورية.

وأوردت المجموعة على تطبيق تلغرام أنها فجرت العبوات بالتعاون مع مسلحين من جماعة أخرى.

وقالت المجموعة، التي تأسست بعد الإطاحة بالحكم السابق قبل عام، والتي سبق أن تبنت التفجير الانتحاري داخل كنيسة في دمشق في حزيران، إن "هجماتنا ستستمر في التزايد وتطال جميع (...)".
