واصل المنتخب الوطني لرفع الأثقال حصد الميداليات في بطولتي غرب آسيا والعربية، المقامتين في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة.

وحققت اللاعبة رحيمة حجازي ميدالية ذهبية وميداليتين برونزيتين في فئة الشابات ببطولة غرب آسيا، وذهبية وفضيتين في فئة الناشئات في البطولة ذاتها.

كما توجت حجازي بفضية وميداليتين برونزيتين في منافسات الشابات بالبطولة العربية، وميدالية برونزية في رفعة الخطف ضمن منافسات الناشئات في البطولة العربية.

وفي السياق ذاته، حقق اللاعب إبراهيم العجوري ثلاث ميداليات برونزية في منافسات الشباب ببطولة غرب آسيا.

وقبل ذلك، توج غيث الخوالدة، بست ميداليات، خلال مشاركته في بطولة غرب آسيا، بواقع 3 ميداليات فضية ضمن منافسات الناشئين و3 ميداليات برونزية ضمن فئة الكبار.
