حصد المنتخب الوطني لرفع الأثقال، مجموعة من الميداليات الملونة في بطولتي غرب آسيا والعربية، المقامتين في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة.

وحققت اللاعبة رحيمة حجازي ميدالية ذهبية وميداليتين برونزيتين في فئة الشابات ببطولة غرب آسيا، وذهبية وفضيتين في فئة الناشئات في البطولة ذاتها.

كما توجت حجازي بفضية وميداليتين برونزيتين في منافسات الشابات بالبطولة العربية، وميدالية برونزية في رفعة الخطف ضمن منافسات الناشئات في البطولة العربية.

وحقق اللاعب إبراهيم العجوري ثلاث ميداليات برونزية في منافسات الشباب ببطولة غرب آسيا.
