غادر المنتخب الوطني الأولمبي تحت سن 23 لكرة القدم عمان، اليوم الأربعاء،متوجها الى قطر، للدخول في معسكر تدريبي بقيادة المدرب المغربي عمر نجحي، استعدادا لكأس آسيا التي تقام في السعودية الشهر المقبل.

وتضم قائمة المنتخب 23 لاعبا، ويتخلل المعسكر مواجهتين وديتين أمام اليابان وأوزبكستان ودياً.

ويستهل المنتخب الوطني مشاركته السابعة تاريخيا في البطولة الأسيوية بمواجهة فيتنام، ثم السعودية على أن يختتم دور المجموعات بلقاء قيرغزستان.

وحسب نظام البطولة، تم تقسيم المنتخبات الـ 16 المشاركة في البطولة على أربع مجموعات، حيث تضم كل مجموعة أربعة فرق، تتنافس بنظام الدوري المجزأ من مرحلة واحدة، ويتأهل أول فريقين من كل مجموعة الأدوار الإقصائية.
