أعلن وزير الداخلية التركي علي يرلي قايا الثلاثاء فقدان الاتصال اللاسلكي مع طائرة تقل رئيس أركان الجيش الليبي وأربعة آخرين بعد إقلاعها من أنقرة متجهة إلى طرابلس.

وقال الوزير عبر منصة إكس إن الطائرة أقلعت في الساعة 1710 بتوقيت غرينتش قبل انقطاع الاتصال اللاسلكي معها في الساعة 1752 بتوقيت غرينتش. وأضاف أن الطائرة طلبت الهبوط الاضطراري فوق أنقرة، إلا أنه لم يتسن التواصل معها بعد ذلك.
