أكد مدير عام شركة العقبة لإدارة وتشغيل الموانىء الدكتور محمود خليفات ان ميناء العقبة الرئيس يشهد حركة مناوله نشطه على مدار الساعة لعدد من البواخر المحملة بمختلف انواع البضائع

وبين خليفات ان خمس بواخر ترسو الان على ارصفة الميناء محملة بنترات الامونيا ومواد أوليه واخشاب وقطع غيار وحديد وذره وارز .... مشيرا في الوقت ذاته الى ان هناك ٩ بواخر اخرى في الانتظار سترسو خلال ايامعلى الارصفه محملة بالكبريت والسيارات والسلك والحديد وألاغنام والعجول.

ويذكر ان ميناء العقبة الرئيس يشهد نقلة نوعية وغير مسبوقة بموجب حزمة من خطط التطوير والتحديث التي طالت كافة مرافق الميناء.
