قرَّر مجلس الوزراء في جلسته التي عقدها صباح الثلاثاء برئاسة رئيس الوزراء جعفر حسَّان، الموافقة على تخصيص مبلغ 10 ملايين دينار لوزارة التَّعليم العالي والبحث العلمي؛ لتمكين الوزارة من تغطية رسوم ‏الطلبة الذين تقدَّموا بطلبات للحصول على المنح أو القروض من صندوق دعم الطالب وانطبقت عليهم شروط الحصول على المنحة أو القرض.

ويأتي القرار لغايات تمكين الطَّلبة الحاصلين على القروض والمنح من صندوق دعم الطَّالب الجامعي من التسجيل على مواد الفصل الثاني للعام الجامعي 2025/2026م في الجامعات التي يدرسون فيها.
