أعلن دونالد ترامب الاثنين إطلاق فئة جديدة من السفن الحربية التي ستحمل اسمه، وهي خطوة غير معتادة بالنسبة إلى رئيس في منصبه.

وأكد الرئيس الأميركي خلال مؤتمر صحافي من مقر إقامته في مارالاغو في ولاية فلوريدا أن تلك السفينة ستكون "أكبر سفينة حربية في تاريخ بلادنا، وأكبر سفينة حربية تم بناؤها في تاريخ العالم على الإطلاق".
