تعتزم اليابان إعادة تشغيل أكبر محطة كهربائية بالطاقة النووية في العالم في منطقة "نيجاتا".

وبحسب وكالة "كيودو" اليابانية، تدرس شركة "طوكيو للطاقة الكهربائية" إعادة تشغيل أول ‍مفاعل من أصل 7 مفاعلات ‍في المحطة في 20 كانون الثاني المقبل، إذا تمت الموافقة على ذلك.

وكانت محطة "كاشيوازاكي-كاريوا"، الواقعة على بعد حوالي 220 كيلومترًا شمال غربي طوكيو، من بين ‍54 مفاعلًا تم إغلاقها بعد أن تسبب زلزال هائل و"تسونامي" في تعطلها.
