"الصحة العالمية": التقدم في مكافحة المجاعة في غزة ما يزال هشا

قال المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية، تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس، إنه رغم التقدم الذي تم الوصول إليه في مكافحة المجاعة بغزة، إلا أنه ما يزال هشًا للغاية، مع استمرار مواجهة السكان الدمار الهائل في البنية التحتية، وانهيار سُبل العيش والإنتاج الغذاء المحلي، والقيود المفروضة على العمليات الإنسانية.
وأضاف غيبريسوس في منشور على منصة "اكس" اليوم الأحد، أنه من المتوقع معاناة أكثر من 100 ألف طفل و37 ألف حامل ومرضع في غزة من سوء تغذية حاد بحلول نيسان 2026.
وأشار إلى أن 50 بالمئة من المرافق الصحية في غزة تعمل جزئيا، وتواجه نقصا في الإمدادات والمعدات الأساسية التي غالبا إما تواجه قيودا وإجراءات دخول معقدة، مضيفا "لتحسين الخدمات المنقذة للحياة وتوسيع نطاق الوصول إلى الرعاية بغزة، تدعو المنظمة إلى الموافقة العاجلة على دخول الإمدادات والمعدات الطبية الأساسية لمستشفيات القطاع".
