عبر جلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني عن فخره بالمنتخب الوطني لكرة القدم وبالجماهير الأردنية مؤكداً أن النشامى وجمهورهم جسدوا صورة مشرفة للأردن وعكسوا وحدة الأردنيين وتلاحمهم.

وقال جلالة الملك في منشور على منصة " اكس" "شاهدنا الأردنيين على قلب واحد، منتخب وجمهور يعكسان كل ما هو جميل في هذا الوطن، فيرى الأردني في المنتخب نفسه، أصيلا صلبا ومحبا. حظ الأردن بكم كبير يا نشامى، وكلنا فخورون بكم وبما حققتم. الحمد لله على سلامتكم ونورتم وطنكم. شكرا للدوحة التي جمعت الأشقاء العرب، ومبارك للمغرب الشقيق".
