لقيت الفنانة المصرية نيفين مندور، بطلة الفيلم السينمائي الشهير "اللي بالي بالك" مع الفنان محمد سعد، مصرعها صباح اليوم الأربعاء، إثر حريق مروع اندلع داخل شقتها السكنية بحي العصافرة في محافظة الإسكندرية.

وحسب ما ذكره مصطفى عطا الله، أحد جيران الراحلة، في منشوره على فيسبوك، فقد اندلع الحريق في السابعة صباحا، وتسبب في تصاعد كثيف للدخان؛ ما أدى إلى اختناق نيفين مندور (53 عاما) داخل شقتها قبل وصول فرق الإسعاف.

كما أكدت مصادر إعلامية محلية إنه من المتوقع أن تفتح الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة بمحافظة الإسكندرية تحقيقا موسعا في الحادث للكشف عن أسبابه وملابساته.

ونالت نيفين بدورها التمثيلي البارز لشخصية "فيحاء" في فيلم "اللي بالي بالك" شهرة واسعة عام 2003، ورغم التوقعات بأن تصبح نجمة سينمائية جديدة، إلا أنها اختفت عن الأضواء لسنوات طويلة ولم تُقدم أعمالًا فنية أخرى لافتة.
