أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، مساء أمس الثلاثاء، محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة بوساطة طائرة مسيّرة (درون) على واجهتها الغربية وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية العسكرية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات.

وجرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك بعد رصدها من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود وإسقاطها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وتم تحويل المضبوطات للجهات المختصة.
