فاز مرشح الحزب الجمهوري (أقصى اليمين) وائتلاف التغيير من أجل تشيلي، خوسيه أنطونيو كاست بالانتخابات الرئاسية التي جرت أمس الأحد، ليصبح الرئيس الثامن والثلاثين للبلاد، وفق ما أعلنت السلطات التشيلية اليوم الاثنين.

وبحسب وكالة يورنيوز الإخبارية، ووفق النتائج النهائية الصادرة عن لجنة الانتحابات المركزية في التشيلي، حصل كاست على 58.17 بالمئة من الأصوات، مقابل 41.83 بالمئة لجانيت جارا، مرشحة التحالف اليساري المنافس (الحزب الشيوعي).
