توج لاعب المنتخب الوطني للسكواش أسامة البطاينة بالميدالية الذهبية، بعد تحقيقه المركز الأول في بطولة سنغافورة الدولية المفتوحة تحت 17 عاماً.

وجاء فوز البطاينة بلقب البطولة التي شهدت مشاركة أكثر من 400 لاعب ولاعبة من 21 دولة، بعد فوزه في النهائي أمس الأحد، على المصنف الأول الماليزي محمد هيكل سيار الدين بنتيجة 3-1.

وتأهل "البطاينة" إلى المباراة النهائية بعد فوزه بأربع مباريات على كل من الماليزي أحمد شافزلي بنتيجة 3-0، وعلى الماليزي اريان ثاندال بنتيجة 3-0، وعلى اللاعب السنغافوري ريهان سينق بنتيجة 3-0، وفي الدور نصف النهائي فاز على المصنف الثاني في البطولة اللاعب الهندي هيردان شاه بنتيجة 3-1 ليتأهل إلى النهائي.
