أكد المبعوث الرئاسي الأميركي ستيف ويتكوف الأحد إحراز "تقدم كبير" خلال المحادثات في برلين مع الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي الهادفة لإيجاد حل دبلوماسي للحرب مع روسيا.

واستمر الاجتماع بين الرئيس الأوكراني والمبعوث الأميركي وجاريد كوشنر، صهر الرئيس دونالد ترامب، لأكثر من خمس ساعات وتضمن "مناقشات معمقة حول خطة السلام المكونة من 20 نقطة والبرامج الاقتصادية وغيرها"، وفق ما قال ويتكوف عبر منصة إكس، مضيفا أن اجتماعا آخر سيعقد صباح الاثنين.
