توفي شخصان، صباح اليوم الأحد، إثر حادث سير مروّع وقع على طريق جابر–الرمثا، وفق مصادر أمنية.

وأوضحت المصادر أن الجهات المختصة باشرت التحقيق للوقوف على أسباب الحادث وملابساته، فيما تعاملت فرق الدفاع المدني والإسعاف مع الموقع، وقامت بإخلاء الجثامين ونقلها إلى المستشفى.

ويأتي هذا الحادث في ظل تكرار الحوادث المميتة على الطريق خلال الفترة الأخيرة، ما يعيد التأكيد على ضرورة تعزيز إجراءات السلامة المرورية، ومراجعة البنية التحتية، واتخاذ تدابير فاعلة للحد من النزيف المتواصل على الطرق حفاظًا على أرواح المواطنين.
