اصيب عدد من الأشخاص السبت بإطلاق نار في حرم جامعة براون في شمال شرق الولايات المتحدة، وفقا لما أعلنت الشرطة المحلية.

وأصدرت شرطة مدينة بروفيدنس، عاصمة ولاية رود آيلاند التي تقع فيها جامعة براون المرموقة، تعليمات جاء فيها "احتموا في أماكنكم، وتجنبوا المنطقة حتى إشعار آخر".
