توج فريق الفيصلي بلقب بطولة درع الاتحاد لكرة القدم للموسم الكروي الحالي، بعد فوزه اليوم السبت، على فريق الحسين إربد بنتيجة 2-0، في المباراة التي أقيمت على ملعب الأمير محمد بالزرقاء، الذي يستضيف جميع مباريات البطولة.

وسجل لي أروين هدف التقدم للفيصلي في الدقيقة السادسة من الشوط الأول، وأضاف مجدي العطار الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة 66 من الشوط الثاني.

ورفع الفيصلي رصيده إلى 21 نقطة بعد ختام الجولة الثامنة من البطولة، ليضمن الفوز باللقب رسميا، بعيدا عن نتيجة مباراته الأخيرة أمام فريق الوحدات.

وشهد اليوم أيضا فوز فريق السلط على السرحان بنتيجة 1-0، ليرفع السلط رصيده إلى 17 نقطة في المركز الثاني، وهو نفس رصيد فريق الوحدات.
