دعا الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام كافة المواطنين ممن يملكون المدفأة المتعارف عليها بالشموسة وبكافة أنواعها إيقاف استخدامها على الفور وعدم إشعالها داخل المنازل تحت أي ظرف كان

وأكّد الناطق الاعلامي على أخذ هذا التحذير على غاية من الأهمية بعد أن ثبت بأن حالات الاختناق التي وقعت خلال ال 24 ساعة الماضية اشتركت بذات نوع المدفأة.

كما وأكّد أن الجهات المعنية تقوم بفحص عينات من كافة أنواع تلك المدافئ ، وستيم إعلان النتائج حال الانتهاء منها .

كما وأكّد الناطق الإعلامي أن فرق مشتركة باشرت بحصر تلك المدافئ داخل المحلات التجارية والمعامل التي تقوم بتصنيعها لمنع بيعها لحين الحصول على النتائج المخبرية
