بعث جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني برقية تهنئة إلى الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع بمناسبة الذكرى الأولى لعيد التحرير للجمهورية العربية السورية.

وأعرب جلالته في البرقية، باسمه وباسم شعب المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وحكومتها، عن أحر التهاني وأصدق المشاعر الأخوية بهذه المناسبة، سائلا المولى عز وجل أن يعيدها على الرئيس الشرع بموفور الصحة، وعلى الشعب السوري الشقيق وقد تحققت تطلعاته بمزيد من التقدم والازدهار.
