عادت حركة الشحن والمناولة في كافة أرصفة وساحات ميناء العقبة إلى طبيعتها، بعد توقفها نتيجة حالة عدم الاستقرار الجوي التي شهدتها العقبة.

وأكد مدير عام شركة العقبة لإدارة وتشغيل الموانئ، الدكتور محمود خليفات، أن كافة أعمال الشحن والمناولة والتخزين ومختلف الأنشطة والعمليات المينائية عادت كالمعتاد ووفق الخطط والبرامج الموضوعة، مشيرا في الوقت نفسه إلى أن الميناء بكافة كوادره تعامل مع العاصفة المطرية بمهنية ووفق خطط الطوارئ الموضوعة.

وبين أن أرصفة ميناء العقبة تشهد حاليا اصطفاف بواخر الشحن والركاب وغيرها من المواد بشكل طبيعي وأن عمليات المناولة على الأرصفة والشاحنات تسير كالمعتاد.
