مقتل 23 شخصا جراء حريق بملهى ليلي في الهند

لقي 23 شخصا على الأقل حتفهم بعد اندلاع حريق في ملهى ليلي بولاية غوا الهندية، حسبما أفادت وسائل إعلام محلية في وقت مبكر من صباح اليوم الأحد، نقلا عن شرطة الولاية.

وذكرت صحيفة "إنديان إكسبريس" ووسائل إعلام أخرى أنه يعتقد أن معظم الضحايا من موظفي المكان. وقد تم انتشال الجثث من الموقع.

ونقلت وكالة أنباء "بي تي أي" الهندية عن قائد شرطة غوا قوله إن السلطات تشتبه في أن الحريق، الذي اندلع في حوالي منتصف الليل، نجم عن انفجار أسطوانة غاز في منطقة المطبخ في الملهى.

ولم يتضح على الفور ما إذا كان هناك أي مصابين.

وبحسب التقارير، وقع الحادث في بلدة أرابورا الساحلية شمال غوا، وهي منطقة معروفة بشواطئها وحياتها الليلية ومناخها الاستوائي الذي يجذب السياح المحليين والأجانب.

وتعد أشهر الشتاء عادة ذروة الموسم السياحي في أصغر ولاية في الهند.
